KNOW ABOUT PH ORP METERS

Image
pH meter, an electrical device used to test the activity of hydrogen-ion (acidity or alkalinity) in solution. A pH meter contains a voltmeter connected to a pH reacting electrode and a reference (non-volatile) electrode.   What is pH? PH is a calculation of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. It gives a value on a scale from 0 to 14, where seven is neutral, less than seven is acidic, and greater than seven is alkaline (or basic). When you approach Zero, the solution becomes acidic, and when you come to 14, the answer becomes alkaline.   What is ORP? We do not see in the world around us, but continuous electron exchange occurs between objects in the air, the earth, water, and our bodies. This condition is commonly known as ion exchange.   To achieve stability, non-electrons actively search for electrons wherever they can be found: these substances are called oxidizing agents. Conversely, substances with high electrons can donate their extra electrons, called reducing agents or anti
